Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By booking a service with Home Hero Services ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all cleaning, handyman, renovation, and related services provided by Home Hero Services (ABN 53 433 245 233) across Melbourne, Victoria.

2. Bookings and Quotes

All quotes are provided based on information supplied at the time of enquiry. Final pricing may be adjusted on arrival if the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described. We will advise you of any price adjustment before commencing work. You are under no obligation to proceed if the adjusted price is not acceptable.

3. Cleaning Services — Expectations and Limitations

We do not guarantee the removal of any specific stain, odour, or soiling. Results depend on fabric type, stain age, prior cleaning history, and the nature of the soiling. We will provide an honest assessment before commencing work.

Cleaning services are performed using commercial-grade equipment and appropriate cleaning solutions. We are not liable for pre-existing damage to fabrics, carpets, or surfaces that becomes apparent during or after cleaning.

4. Renovation and Handyman Services

Renovation and handyman work is subject to a separate written quote or scope of works. All renovation work complies with applicable Victorian building regulations. Any variations to the agreed scope must be approved in writing before additional work commences.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments. For renovation projects, a deposit may be required prior to commencement. Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may attract a late payment fee.

6. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee to cover travel and scheduling costs. We reserve the right to reschedule bookings in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as equipment failure or staff illness, and will provide as much notice as possible.

7. Liability

Our liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the cost of the service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. All our technicians are insured. In the unlikely event of damage caused directly by our work, please contact us within 48 hours of the service so we can assess and address the issue.

8. Access and Safety

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the property and areas to be serviced. Please ensure pets are secured and children are supervised during the service. We reserve the right to refuse or cease work if we consider the working conditions to be unsafe.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
